The mighty Hyper 212 EVO review is finally here after a long testing lasted for a whole week

It’s been a while since Cooler Master has released one of its mighty CPU cooling systems. The Hyper 212 is not only one of the best budget cooling system in the market nowadays but also it’s one of the highest performance systems as well. Off course I’m talking here about ‘Fan’ cooling systems, so don’t get me wrong.

Performance
The terrific performance is the main reason for writing this review. It all started when I wanted to upgrade my current heat sink, the original one that comes with the CPU.
The temperature on the original heat sink is around 48 – 50 degree (Celsius) on idle, while when I was launching Photoshop or zipping a huge file, I get around 73 degree which is not good for the system.

When I installed the Hyper 212 EVO, I get on the idle mode around 30 degree, and on the heavy mood around 60 degree, even with over clocking my system to 4.0GHz the temperature was stable like a GTR doing 160 mile on Suzuka track. Thanks to direct contact technology that was used to spread the heat from the CPU surface, the temperature is not a problem any more and hopefully never will be.
